I am from Tanzania, where I grew up till the age of 18. After completion of high school, I went to Canada for my first degree, where I obtained a the Dean's medal for the department of Social Science. Upon completion of my bachelors degree, I joined the IMF in their prestigious Research Assistant Program for tenure of 2 years. This inspired me to obtain a graduate degree in economics. I started my studies at the LSE in 2008, where I completed the Masters program with a distinction and got a full scholarship to carry onto the PhD program. in 2015, I successfully defended my thesis and decided to move back to Tanzania. Currently am working in the Timber Sector with interest in Fruit Tree plantations.
